En se déployant, le container devient le sol et révèle l'architecture intérieure : une ossature en fibre de carbone, deux arches en bois, le tout recouvert d'une membrane.
As it unfolds, the container becomes the floor and reveals the interior architecture: a carbon-fibre frame, two wooden arches, the whole wrapped in a membrane.
Le pavillon a d'abord été pensé pour la plateforme du Pont de la Machine, siège de la Fondation et bâtiment emblématique de la Genève horlogère. Conçu pour être itinérant, il se replie, voyage et se redéploie facilement dans d'autres lieux pour accompagner les éventuels temps forts du salon.
The pavilion was first conceived for the platform of the Pont de la Machine, the Foundation's home and a landmark of watchmaking Geneva. Designed to be itinerant, it folds, travels and redeploys easily in other settings to accompany the salon's key moments.
